Groups – activities “à la carte”
If you are a group and would like to trek, make your own itinerary or have special dates, We can provide you all information regarding the acomplishment of your projects – For a study of your project and a budget projection, please contact us
Booking :
Please, try to book as soon as possible. For many programs we have to book in advance the guides and mountain hut.
General condition:
Inscriptions will only be valid when accompagnied by a deposit of 30% of the total price by cheque (zone euro) or swift transfer or credit card – contact us for any informations
Cancellations :
Notify us as soon as possible by registered letter.
From 30 days or more before departure : the fees for your file : We keep 100 € fixed administrative costs.
– 30 to 22 days before the departure : 25 % of the total cost
– 21 to 15 days before the departure : 50 % of the total cost
– 14 to 2 days before the departure : 75 % of the total cost
– at less than 2 days before the departure : 100 % of the total cost
The association reserves the right to cancel tours 72h before depart if the minimum number of participants is insufficient. You will then receive an integral reimbursement of your deposit.
In general, the meeting point is fixed for 6:30 PM at the Independant Guides Office 9 passage de la Varlope, Chamonix.
Don’t forget to bring your passport, a parental authorisation if you are under 18 years old and eventually Carte Neige insurance or a FFCAM or FFME card.
Insurance:
Inquire foremost with your insurer. It is important to be insured “individual accident” for activities that you will enjoy and take out repatriation insurance when traveling abroad.
If you have not purchased insurance you can subscribe to the contract “Impact Multi Sports» Diot Montagne (attractive prices by the day, year round, individually or for a family) to be found on http: // www.diot-montagne.fr/impact-multisports-pro.html. You can also take a specific insurance from the “Vieux Campeur” or “French Alpine Club” (FFCAM) for example. The card of the FFCAM allows for reductions in huts and refuges. Warning: The repatriation insurance proposed by payment cards (Visa, Premier, Gold, Master Card) is not sufficient as part of a trip in an isolated area.
We would like to remind our clientele that in the event of an accident involving personal injury, the responsability of the A.IG.M.B will be engaged until the admission will be the responsability of the clients own personal insurance.
The guide has the right to modify any arrangements for various reasons (weather conditions, snow conditions, security, capabilities of the group etc…). The application of VAT to guides may result in a increase in guiding fees.
